We all love visiting the New Forest to see all the free roaming animals that is has to offer, but feeding can lead ponies and donkeys to become dependent on human-provided food. This dependency can disrupt their natural foraging behaviour, making them less likely to consume a balanced diet and more likely to suffer from nutritional deficiencies.
