We are a beautiful traditional family run Country Inn just a stones throw from Lyndhurst, the beating heart of the New Forest. With roaring log fires, creaky floors, oak beams and the most friendliest welcome! Our newly refurbished rooms overlook our newly terraced garden, which backs directly onto the forest with muddy boots welcomed all year round!
Our restaurant is renowned for the best freshly cooked homemade food in The New Forest and some of the greatest real ales too! Which were able to serve you food all day, every day! 12 – 9:30 Monday to Saturday, 12 – 9 Sunday!
Check in is 3pm and checkout is 11am so you can get that cheeky mid morning nap in before your day starts! 24 hour access is available for residents throughout the day.
We are very fortunate that there are many walks and cycle routes directly from the pub – being in the heart of the forest wild ponies, cattle and pigs wander by daily.
Situated in Emery Down, simply turn off A35 Lyndhurst to Christchurch Road – just outside Lyndhurst. Signposted to Emery Down The New Forest Inn is welcoming you just over the hill over the cattle grid.
