The New Forest Inn is a charming traditional country pub with 4 letting rooms. Along with this comes creaking floors and sloping ceilings and natures noises from the sleepy forest behind. All our rooms are a little bit quirky in their own way – but that is a part of the charm of staying in a country pub. Our rooms are all on the first floor and have 24 hour separate access, although most of our guests enjoy a substantial, delicious meal, a nice glass of wine or ale or two and a relaxing evening in the pub and amble up to bed in their after an enjoyable evening. Dogs are welcome in two of our rooms (Room 1 and 4) and with the extra bed we can accommodate in either Room 2 or 3.

We do not offer room service but we do have an amazing restaurant serving good home cooked food all day every day. Monday – Saturday 12noon – 9.30pm and Sunday 12 noon to 9pm. We serve our main menu all day and evening and have our specials board changes daily.
We have (limited) car parking facilities, but plenty of roadside parking nearby. With direct forest access there are many enjoyable walks straight out from our front door –again, please ask any of our staff for details. Lyndhurst is only a 15 minute walk away with antique shops, tea rooms and many independent individual interesting shops. We also have many leaflets for local amenities and facilities (situated in the bar).
